PP glass fibres / glass beads

PP glass fibres / glass beads

Reinforcements/Fillers in the form of glass fibres, glass beads, talc, chalk, carbon, mica or others embedded in MACOMASS polypropylene compounds give better stiffness, higher mechanical toughness and better heat resistance and are more aesthetically pleasing.

Stiffness, toughness, firmness and creep strength in the component are increased by reinforcing the plastic matrix with glass fibres.
Glass beads are also used in PP for modification purposes when higher stiffness and pressure resistance are necessary as well as when tendency to warp is to be reduced. Glass bead reinforcement can create improved surface quality.

The higher stiffness of the glass fibre combines with the reduction of the tendency to warp of the glass bead reinforcement
in the PP compound in so-called hybrid combinations of glass fibre and glass bead reinforcements.

We’re happy to process your colour matches according to your requirements.

The MACOMASS basic range includes PP compounds based on homopolymers and copolymers in varying degrees of filling.

We’ll be happy to compile your own individual offer!
